Perth Wedding Photography Presence

We all have very different personalities - and what a relief! Some people we find it easy to connect with & be around - others we would prefer not. No new information here!

But it is important to remember when choosing a wedding photographer. You may love someones photos - but what if you dislike their personality or jokes or demeanour?

Talking mainly to the brides now - your day will be exciting, special and filled with close interaction with members of your family, friends and your photographer. That's right - the photographer will be right there - and in close proximity.

Do you want a fun lively photographer? A shy quite photographer? Someone who will blend into the background or be the life of the party? Do you want someone who can command the family into place?

Be as careful & thorough as you can be when looking at a photographers presence. The best photos doesn't mean he/she will be respectful or happy on the day. A quick 5 minute conversation to a photographer will not tell you what he/she is like under pressure.

How will your photographer react to your mum bossing him around or uncle Jo who wants to take some photos at inopportune times?

Take some serious time looking into this. Look at the website - is the photographer the one who writes the website? Is it real or just good marketing? When you phone is he / she the actual person who will attend the day? Are they caring about you - not just your booking or money? Do you feel comfortable with them? Will they allow you to request things & show photos of other's work for what you want? What is their background & beliefs? Ask & see :)
